One thing I have noticed about WOW is the great racial stereotypes that crop up. Now any fantasy fan knows that Dwarves are all OF COURSE Welsh... why is this? I guess the mining connection has something to do with it...I guess. It was the same in Lord Of The Rings.
But why are trolls over the top clichés of a Jamaican? Why "ayy mon, whot yoo dooin' mon"? I swear I once heard a troll saying "I dunno mon like I was-a tinkin' aboot cookin' up some-a chicken an-a raaas"...I may have imagined it though.
Did they possibly consult Jim Davidson and his well loved (but not seen so much since the 80s) character "Chalky"?
