...You can't.
Every year I go through the same thing. I wonder if all the overtly religious people moaning about "them trying to take our Christmas away from us" know how it is to be on the other side. Imagine if you truly, truly hated Christmas, or were allergic to it for some reason.
About November time you start seeing the decorations, and then everything is to do with Christmas, every shop, every street, everything gets covered in lights and trinkets. If you want to go to a shop then it's busy and hectic, every one tries to be nice by saying "Happy Christmas" to you, but...what if you truly didn't want this? There is no way to NOT have it.
Stay at home and don't go out? Nope! Every TV show and advert pump Christmas at you for the whole of December. Turn the TV off, go online - worse! Every website gets a jingle bells make over. Turn off the net then. Nope! Things come through your letter box! Barricade up the letter box.....someone puts a lit up tree outside your window.
So apart from locking myself away with closed curtains from November to January and not interacting with anything or anyone....it's unavoidable.
